Our school council has representatives from P3 to P7. The children who are elected by their peers onto the council and meet monthly and discuss ideas and improvements that could make the school better. Giving pupils a voice is very important at Brookeborough Primary School.

An example of taking account of what the children wanted was implementing last year's council suggestion for more notice boards to display more pupil achievements and showing off their wonderful work. Brand new notice boards have arrived for the entrance corridor and for the hall. Goal nets were bought and the children decided what play equipment was needed.
