The children wanted to know why the water on the night that the Titanic sank was so dangerous. Mr Young told them it was because it was -2! To help the children understand how cold that is, they were allowed to put their hand in rather chilly salt water chilled to exactly -2, then they imagined trying to swim in it. Even Mrs Robinson had a go!
The children have shared lots about what they'd like to learn about the Titanic like it's size, luxury, the different classes of people and why so many sadly lost their lives and what changed in ocean liners forever, following the sinking.
