We have been doing lots of lessons and super learning around WW2. In art we studied the war artist Paul Nash who did paintings with a realistic background but with abstract details like plane contrails being patterns. Take a look at our paintings!
The close up is by Clara in P6 who took inspiration from a painting showing German planes and wings washing up on British shores representing the Battle of Britain.
We used cartridge paper, watercolour paints, oil pastels and pencils combining these mediums together.
