Our P6s and P7s joined with our friends at St Mary's and went to a multi school event called 'Be Safe'. The children had sessions on:
- Fire safety
- Swimming/water safety
- Online safety
- Road safety
- Bus safety
- Dangers of smoking and vaping
Each session was delivered by members of PSNI, RNLI, Translink and health professionals.
This is part of what we call in school the 'Preventative Curriculum' which helps children understand risks in various areas of life and helps prevents accidents along with keeping children safe and aware.
They were brilliantly behaved!
